Description

Compared to others in the UK, I have been very blessed with breaks in the weather to capture some data, this time from the famous crab nebula. I understand why this is called what it is, but certainly in my second image uploaded here, it looks more like a brain! Also, I am not sure about this, but I have captured a downward ejection and extension from the main nebula, which I have not seen on other images of this, very often. Maybe someone knows a bit about it - if so it looks a bit like a spinal column starting to coming forth - sorry about the gruesome anatomical comparisons. Anyway this was 66 Has and 75 OIIIs, all at 3 minutes exposure time. This equates to 7 hours and 3 minutes... once again I seem to be getting odd minutes! Thanks everyone...
